A picture years in the making...
An early picture taken at Sunset Chalets - before construction could start, we had to test the feasibility and sustainability of our water source. This is the first splash of water to reach our very own piece of Earth. Little did we know that this picture would become the brand we proudly represent today. Since then, it has become the fixture and earmark of everything that we consider Sunset Chalets.

Our landscape now stands proudly and boasts with over 500 trees - including species like the Swakopmund Palm, Date Palm and the majestic Monkey Thorn tree. It is said that 'first water' refers to the highest quality in terms of gemstone trade. The more water-like a diamond is in translucence, the higher the quality. We like to believe this is only a few of the ways to describe Sunset Chalets as something special we have created.

It is the new way to enjoy nature with a twist of luxury. Sunset Chalets is situated alongside the B3 highway in Karasburg - at the junction of the B3 and C11 District Road to Aroab.

We offer the perfect solution for those who love taking long road trips in need of a charming pit stop - our accommodation consists of five stunningly furnished self-catering units equipped with air conditioning, luxurious kitchenette and modern en-suite bathroom. For those in need of a proper bush break, our self-catering accommodation services extend to camping sites, hiking, hunting, etc. Whatever your road tripping personality may be, Sunset Chalets has the attribute for all.
